Exciting news from the field!
We just received a video update from Jonathan Mativo showing that the very first aluminum frame has already been installed in a real home—on just day 2 of practical training! It’s an inspiring milestone for this group of young women, proving that with the right opportunity, learning can turn into real-world impact—fast.
Safety First
Even more encouraging: proper safety measures are being taken. The girls are working with protective gloves and eyewear, keeping their hands and eyes safe while handling aluminum materials. Safety is a core value in our HerSkills Fundis Program, and it’s wonderful to see it in action so early on.
One step forward… but budget behind
This exciting progress also comes with a new challenge: the budget shortfall has grown slightly. Materials and tools needed to support this momentum are pushing the limits of our current resources.
Let’s keep this going
With just €75, you can fully support one girl through the entire aluminum training—tools, gear, and all.
Help us empower more girls to build, create, and earn—safely and skillfully.
One window installed. Many more doors opening. Together, we’re building a brighter future—frame by frame.
